Chapter3

I found the website idea interesting. Having the kids create and manage their own site is a great idea! Using "Reverse Mentoring" is even better. I like the idea of having the a group of kids mentor me. I am not exactly sure how to even start, but I plan on finding out. Empowering kids to take charge of their own learning is wonderful strategy.

  1. Interesting! I'm not sure that would work for me just yet. Let me know what you find out and if it works and share with us.

  2. Randy, I think Alan means that kids can teach us things about technology as well as us teaching them. In my classroom, when a student knows how to do something I don't with the technology; I have that student come to the front of the room and show the class. The students learn from each other, and I am learning too. I think that is an example of Reverse Mentoring.
